On March 25th “UBI Cares” chose the Road Home as its quarterly project. Two teams helped to sort donations and clean the children’s play area. Along with donating our time to the Salt Lake and Midvale facilities UBI also brought a truck load of donations for the shelter. We left the shelter with a sense of pride in helping make a difference and with a few new friends as team members played ring around the roses with some of the children.
On June 10th “UBI Cares” worked in conjunction with Neighbour Helping Neighbour to do yard clean up for the elderly. Our darling homeowner is 94 years old and will be able to return to the home in which she has lovingly lived in for 65 years. We were able to make a significant difference in this yard. With a massive clean up comes a massive amount of yard waste. We are lucky and proud to have had our insured “Down Town Self Storage “ volunteer to make a run to the dump for us. Not only helping our homeowner but the Neighbour Helping Neighbour Organization.
